Compare

How to compare dental software without a sales call.

This page does not contain a table of competitor prices. Not because the comparison is unflattering — because the public numbers for the alternatives contradict each other, and we are not going to publish a figure about someone else’s business that we cannot stand behind.

What follows instead: every number about EnamDoc, in full. The twelve questions worth putting to any vendor, us included. And the cases where EnamDoc is the wrong choice.

Why there is no competitor table here

Two things surfaced while researching this page that are worth passing on, because they will affect your own research.

Track32 and tab32 are different companies. Track32 (track32.in) is an Indian product from Gadre Infotech. tab32 (tab32.com) is a US company. Software directories confuse them constantly, which means reviews and pricing you read for one may belong to the other.

Published competitor pricing does not agree with itself. Practo Ray appears in third-party directories at three materially different price points depending on which directory you read. None of those is a primary source. Neither Track32 nor Practo Ray publishes a single, unambiguous public price the way a SaaS product normally would.

That is itself the most useful comparison we can honestly offer: EnamDoc publishes its price and they do not. Everything else you should verify yourself, from the vendor, in writing.

The checklist

Twelve questions to ask any dental software vendor

Including us. If a vendor cannot answer one of these in a sentence, that is the answer.

  1. 01

What is the actual price, in writing, before a demo?

If a number requires a sales call, it is negotiable — which means someone is paying more than you.

  2. 02

Is there a commission on what I bill my patients?

A low subscription with a percentage of treatment billing behind it is not a low price.

  3. 03

Can I try it on real patients before paying, without a card?

A trial that takes card details is a subscription with a grace period.

  4. 04

Are invoices GST-ready when raised, or assembled later?

Software built for the US or EU market has no concept of GST, whatever the sales page implies.

  5. 05

Does patient communication go over WhatsApp?

In India, email reminders are a metric that looks fine and does nothing.

  6. 06

What happens to my records if I stop paying?

Ask for the export format in writing. "Contact support" is not an answer.

  7. 07

Where is my patient data physically stored?

Relevant under the DPDP Act, and a question good vendors answer immediately.

  8. 08

Can a second dentist or a visiting consultant use it?

Per-seat pricing that only reveals itself at your second hire is a common trap.

  9. 09

Does it work on the phone at the chair, or only on a desktop?

Software that assumes a receptionist at a desk does not fit a two-chair clinic.

  10. 10

What does onboarding actually involve, in days?

The honest answer is usually longer than the sales answer.

  11. 11

    Who owns the patient relationship?

Marketplaces that also sell patient leads have an interest that is not identical to yours.

  12. 12

What is on the roadmap, and is it published?

An unpublished roadmap is a wish. Ask what shipped in the last six months instead.

When EnamDoc is the wrong choice

A comparison page that concludes we win every time is marketing. These are the cases where you should buy something else, and we would rather you found out here than in month three.

  • You need deep orthodontic treatment-planning or cephalometric tooling — EnamDoc does not do this.
  • You run a large multi-branch chain with complex inter-branch reporting. EnamDoc is built for the one-to-few-chair clinic today.
  • You need integration with an existing accounting stack such as Tally. There is no accounting integration today.
  • You need insurance or TPA claim processing. India’s dental cover is nascent and EnamDoc does not handle claims.
  • You want on-premise software with no cloud component. EnamDoc is cloud-only.
  • Your patients are outside India. GST invoicing and INR pricing are core, not configurable.

FAQ

About this comparison

01
Why does EnamDoc not publish a comparison table against Practo or Track32?
Because the publicly available pricing for those products contradicts itself across sources, and none of those sources is primary. Publishing a competitor price we cannot verify would be a factual error regardless of how it was framed. We publish our own numbers in full and give you the questions to ask everyone else.
02
Is Track32 the same as tab32?
No. Track32 (track32.in) is an Indian dental practice management product from Gadre Infotech. tab32 (tab32.com) is a separate US company. Software directories frequently confuse the two, so reviews and pricing you find for one may actually describe the other. Check the domain before you draw conclusions.
03
How much does EnamDoc cost?
EnamDoc Pro is ₹750 per month, ₹3,500 for six months, or ₹6,000 for twelve months. There is a 7-day free trial that does not require a card, and there is no commission on treatment billing. Patients and dental students use EnamDoc free.
04
What makes EnamDoc different from general clinic software?
Three things that are structural rather than feature-level: it is built for Indian clinics specifically (GST-ready invoicing, WhatsApp as the patient channel), every dentist on the network is licence-verified before they can accept a booking, and it carries a dental student side that general clinic software has no equivalent of.
05
Can I move my data out if I leave?
Yes. You can request an export or full account deletion at any time, from the app or by contacting support. The deletion process is documented on our delete-account page.

Fifteen minutes, on your own clinic’s workflow. Or skip the call — the trial is seven days, free, and does not ask for a card.
